what past participants are saying…

  • "The idea of working from a trauma-informed frame of mind helped make this workshop accessible. The ways DeAnna and jo facilitated made this training feel comfortable and kept me in a mindset of learning and absorbing instead of panic and survival."

  • "Jo and Deanna both created a structure and atmosphere that encouraged the active practice of trauma-informed facilitation while giving us immediate access to the same resources they were actively using to do so. Getting to experience this type of facilitation firsthand, followed by a debriefing and explanation of why it worked, made me feel as though I could easily turn around and make this happen in my own spaces."

  • "As someone who is new to the language of trauma-informed facilitation, this workshop not only gave me skills and resources but also gave me a grounded reality that there are others doing this kind of good work and holding this kind of care for students, even in spaces that I don’t know of already. "
